Candis Hickman is a Personal Branding Coach, Certified Image Consultant and Host of the Becoming Known Podcast. She draws on past experience as an on-camera host, commercial model, and coach to challenge her audience to overcome their fears, create their stand-out brand and become known for their unforgettable contributions to the world.
After a move to the USA from Australia in 2011 resulted in the loss of her professional Occupational Therapy credentials, Candis used the art of personal branding to reinvent herself and transition from a minimum wage mall employee to a strategist and host. She has interviewed stars like Ice Cube, George Kotsiopolous of E! Fashion Police and Dee Wallace of Steven Spielberg’s E.T, and has been the talent for brands including Schwarzkopf Professional, Wilson, LifeFitness, and Virgin Trains, to name a few. She has since helped hundreds of professionals reinvent themselves using the power of personal branding and is working on a new book that takes her life-changing message beyond the podcast to help even more people become known.
Candis sits on the board of the S.O.U.L Sisters Leadership Collective, a non-profit organization whose mission is to interrupt cycles of incarceration in girls and femmes of color through restorative justice, collective leadership, creative expression, and entrepreneurship.
