Laura Lawson Visconti is a Sony Alpha photographer, travel-obsessed writer and social content creator based in Lake Tahoe. She enjoys telling the stories that inevitably crop up when travel and adventure intersect. Her foray into social media and photography began in 2011 when Instagram was released; today her social reach is over 150,000.
Laura runs a boutique social media agency called GEOGRAPHY CREATIVE, and is also the co-founder of DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF, a specialty coffee roastery.
Laura enjoys exploring the mountains around her home alongside her husband, former professional snowboarder Nick Visconti. Laura also loves camping, cooking, yoga, painting, whiskey and Jesus. She is happiest when heading to the airport, passport in hand.
Laura is visually impaired with a limited range of vision due to a rare degenerative condition called retinitis pigmentosa. She describes her spiritual journey dealing with this diagnosis and giving up driving in her e-book, Believing is Seeing. All proceeds are donated to the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
